Anonymizing users for GDPR compliance

PostgreSQL 11 support

OpenID Connect comes to Jira

Anonymizing users for GDPR compliance

Admins now have the possibility to make their users anonymous and hide or delete all data that can identify real people. Now, when somebody is leaving your company and requests to have their personal data erased, you can easily fulfill such a request and stay compliant with GDPR and the ‘right to be forgotten’.

It is now possible to anonymize users with just a few clicks. At a glance you can see all elements in Jira that store user’s personal data. So with one click you can anonymize everyone. But please be careful with this – once someone has been anonymized, they are anonymized forever.

PostgreSQL 11 support

PostgreSQL 11 is added to the supported platforms for Jira Server and Data Center and Aurora PostgreSQL 11.4 for Jira Data Center.

OpenID Connect comes to Jira  DATA CENTER

Many enterprises still struggle to use industry-standard user management tools to authenticate to Atlassian. Long ago, SAML support was added to all data center products. Now, with the integration of OpenID Connect, now a new authentication option has been added to enable seamless integration with third-party identity providers.
